KOJIC PEELS

Glycolic Kojic combination nanopeel is specially formulated for skin lightening & anti-pigmentation effect. It is also effective for skin rejuvenation. It clears the face in a few treatments, leaving the skin clearer, brighter & more youthful. Glycolic Kojic hydroquinone combination nanopeel is formulated for skin lightening.  Its powerful bleaching effect clears the face in a  few treatments. Citric Kojic Hydroquinone combination nanopeel is formulated for skin that tolerates hydroquinone to treat active acne, rosacea, and pigmentation. It also improves under eye dark circles.

What does Kojic acid do to the skin?

Kojic acid is sometimes used in health and beauty products to lighten the skin. It used to treat skin conditions, such as sun damage, scars, and age spots. The science behind how Kojic acid works as a lightening agent involves its effect on melanin production.

 

How long does Kojic acid take to work?       

Kojic acid may take 6 to 12 weeks before you start noticing a prominent impact. You may notice enhanced skin tone with a couple of weeks.

Does Kojic acid bleach the skin?

Kojic acid is often used as a skin-lightening agent because of its effects on a protein known as tyrosinase. Melanin is the primary pigment in the skin. Thus, by inhibiting the tyrosinase protein’s ability to make melanin, Kojic acid is able to prevent skin pigmentation, which can help lighten the skin’s tone.

 

Are Kojic acid results permanent?

Kojic acid skincare is not cytotoxic and therefore cannot permanently lighten your skin tone. Kojic acid skincare may also in some cases permanently lighten skin tone for example when skin darkening has been caused by temporary skin damage i.e., as a result of acne.

Instructions of use

STEP 1 : CLEANSING

Activator Pre-treatment Gel
Rinse the face with water. Apply the product gently and massage for 1-2 minutes. Remove with a soft damp cloth or rinse gently with water. Your skin is ready for the treatment.

STEP 2 : PROTECTION

Protective petroleum jelly
Apply protective petroleum jelly around sensitive areas – periocular area, lips, nasal mucosa.

STEP 3 : PEEL 1

Ferulic peel
Apply the ferulic nanopeel using a brush, leave it for 3-5 minutes & re-apply second coat and massage till absorption. If irritation occurs, rinse off immediately with plenty of cold water.

STEP 4 : PEEL 2

Kojic peel
Apply the kojic pure peel solution using peel brush and leave it for 2-4 minutes.
Remove the kojic pure peel by applying neutralizing lotion.
If irritation occurs, rinse off immediately with plenty of cold water.
Recommended– (Use retinol yellow peel 4% mild after the use of kojic peel for better results).

STEP 5 : Neutralize (Post-treatment)

Neutralizer
Spray neutralizer on the skin and clean it with sterilized gauze. Use pressure if necessary.
Note: Do not neutralize the leave on peels.

STEP 6 : PEEL 3

Retinol yellow peel (mild)
Apply the single-dose Vitamin C (ampoule) solution and gently massage till penetration. Apply Retinol (sachet) cream and gently massage till total absorption, seal the treatment with 1 layer of cream. Keep it for 6-8 hours. Do not neutralize.
If irritation occurs, rinse off immediately with plenty of cold water.

STEP 7 : Sun Protection (Post-treatment Care)

Sun Defense
Apply gently a thick layer of Sun defense cream on the face & body.

Personal Care (prescription): The physician may prescribe Leaderma personal care products for continuing the treatments at home.
